Hana EllisonKitchen remodel

The estimate named every cabinet run and the appliances we were keeping. The island is the right height for our table-less dinners. They covered the hall each night, which mattered because the bedrooms are past the kitchen.

Three oak samples sat in the hall at dusk before we chose. The squeak at the stairs is gone. Door swings were planned before the floor went down, including a closet I had forgotten.

The shower niche fits the bottles we own, which sounds small and is not. The room was offline only on the days written in the note. One tile edge needed a return visit, and it was scheduled without a chase.

They repaired the trim that had swollen before they painted it. The blue was sampled on the north wall and the west wall. Both still look like the same color, which was the test I cared about.

The fogged panes are gone and the sash stays open when I need it. Interior trim was repaired instead of being buried under a thick new frame. After the rain they came back for one seal and wrote it down.

The bench matches the table we already had. Andre measured it twice and I am glad, because a catalog height would have been wrong. The lid hides the games that used to live on the floor.

Four rooms were phased so we always had a bedroom. Sheen was different in the hall than in the office, and Priya explained why in a note I still have. Touch-ups were marked with tape, not with a vague promise.

The rail no longer wobbles and the steps are visible at dusk. They kept the framing that was sound instead of selling us a full replacement. The bedroom above the deck stayed quiet during nap hours.

The entry tile meets the oak without a clumsy strip. Luis walked it with me in socks and set two nails I would have found with a heel later. The written care note is taped inside the closet, which is exactly where I will look.
